01 / Responsive Web

Product detail pages, across every screen.

Adapting a content-rich shopping experience for desktop, tablet and mobile web, while keeping pricing, promotions, product options and reviews easy to find.

The challenge

Carry a dense product page across three screen sizes without losing the information shoppers need to make a decision.

Design approach

Explore three directions: an app-inspired layout, a quick-view-inspired layout, and an update of the existing PC interface using design-system components.

Key decisions

Restructure the same content for smaller screens; keep reviews and ratings aligned across devices; define consistent typography, spacing and product-option interactions.

02 / Mobile App · Checkout

Making checkout fees easier to understand.

Organising platform fees, fuel surcharges, bag charges and handling fees, with a clear breakdown of what Mall Dollar can cover.

The challenge

Explain several types of additional charges and their different payment rules without making the checkout summary harder to scan.

Design approach

Group related charges under a platform-fee entry and reveal the breakdown on demand. Explore popup and bottom-sheet treatments with the existing interface components.

Key decisions

Keep the three bag charges individually listed, distinguish charges that cannot be paid with Mall Dollar, and retain a separate explanation for heavy-item handling.

03 / Mobile App · Delivery Experience

A more flexible way to rate and say thanks.

Designing delivery ratings and courier tips around different customer journeys, including custom amounts, payment states and returning to finish a remaining action.

Design decisions
The challenge

Customers may want to leave a rating, give a tip, or do both, and may return after completing only one action.

Design approach

Map independent rating and tipping journeys, including the intermediate “tip paid, rating pending” state, and show what has already been completed on re-entry.

Key decisions

Support a custom tip amount, keep the primary action accessible within the bottom sheet, and distinguish submitted feedback from a failed or pending tip payment.

04 / Mobile App · Account Experience

Clearer account verification and device trust.

Shaping trusted-device and two-factor verification journeys, from explaining account protection to entering an SMS code and confirming completion.

The challenge

Help customers understand verification requirements and the actions available on trusted, untrusted and restricted devices.

Design approach

Map account and device states across login, settings and checkout, then provide clear explanations and recovery messages for each verification step.

Key decisions

Explain restricted-device actions, account for missing or unverified phone numbers, and make SMS-code limits and verification errors understandable.
